Class B  CDL training - students learn the proper way to do a truck check

Class B CDL training is offered in a 2 or 3 1/2 week courses

Class “B” CDL Training Course:

North Cross offers Class B CDL training in either  a two week (2) or three and half (3 1/2 ) week training courses. The two-week course is for the student who has a CDL permit, DOT physical, some truck driving industry exposure, and can hit the ground running. Others students will find the three and half (3 1/2) week training course more suitable to gain more experience and confidence.

Class B  CDL requires a minimum of 48 total hours, including at least:

20 hours of classroom instruction
14 hours of street driving training
4 hours of training in backing maneuvers
4 hours of proficiency development
6 hours of combined lab training, range training and observation
Class C 36 total hours, including at least:

20 hours of classroom instruction
8 hours of street driving training
2 hours of training in backing maneuvers
2 hours of proficiency development
4 hours of combined lab training, range training and observation
