CDL “A” Class Training Course:
The “A” class training is four-weeks (160 hours) and costs $4,100. The six-week (240 hours) course provides you with additional preparation for the employer’s pre-employment road tests that you are likely to be taking. Both four and six-week courses prepare you for the rigorous three-part CDL exam.
- Class A 160 total hours, including at least:
- 40 hours of classroom instruction
- 18 hours of street driving training
- 16 hours of training in backing maneuvers
- 16 hours of proficiency development
- 70 hours of combined lab training, range training and observation
CDL “B” Class Training Course:
CDL Class B training is offered in a 2 or 3 1/2 week curriculum. The two-week course is for the student who has a CDL permit, DOT physical, some truck driving industry exposure, and can hit the ground running. Others will find the 3 1/2 week course more suitable.
Class B CDL Training – 48 total hours, including at least:
- 20 hours of classroom instruction
- 14 hours of street driving training
- 4 hours of training in backing maneuvers
- 4 hours of proficiency development
- 6 hours of combined lab training, range training and observation
CDL “C” Class Training Course:
- 20 hours of classroom instruction
- 8 hours of street driving training
- 2 hours of training in backing maneuvers
- 2 hours of proficiency development
- 4 hours of combined lab training, range training and observation
CDL refresher training is a four to eight day course for the driver who has previously earned a CDL, has past driving experience, and wants to polish up and refresh their driving skill before taking a pre-employment test with a potential employer.
